Taimen Fishing Expedition

Taimen are the world's largest salmonid and one of the oldest fish species on Earth. For more than 40 million years they have inhabited Mongolia's northern rivers. Today healthy populations survive only in a few remote waters like the rivers where we fish.

Together with international anglers and local conservation partners, we work hard to protect these rivers and ensure they remain wild for future generations.

Trout & Arctic Grayling Adventure

Our rivers produce impressive numbers of Mongolian trout and Arctic grayling.

Throughout summer they feed aggressively on the surface. It's common to see dozens of trout and grayling rising calmly in crystal-clear water right in front of you.

Fishing Techniques:

  • Hopper strikes
  • Euro nymphing
  • Streamers
  • Classic dry flies

Camp Life in the Wild

Every year we set up a series of eco-camps along the river giving access to hundreds of kilometers of protected waters. The camps are rustic, comfortable, and designed for relaxation after a full day of fishing.

Evenings at Camp

  • Relaxing beside a wood stove
  • Sitting under the stars
  • Drinking tea or wine
  • Sharing fishing stories
  • Listening to Mongolian songs
  • Preparing flies for the next day

There are no generators and no loud music — only the sound of flowing water and wind through the trees.

Floating Fishing Journey

Anglers float between camps daily without vehicle shuttles.

Fish new stretches of river every day

Arrive at camp where your bags are already waiting

Dinner prepared and ready

Fishing days often extend into the evening but guides can return to camp earlier if requested.
